For Agencies
Helping you make the greatest impact
1 | Invitation & Eligibility
We do not accept unsolicited applications. Instead, SJPF identifies and invites high-performing, mission-aligned organizations to apply during each funding cycle.
To be eligible, agencies must:
Operate from a clearly life-affirming mission rooted in faith.
Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and readiness for measurable impact.
Align with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
2 | Application Cycle & Guidelines
Invited agencies may apply during designated grant cycles, typically held twice a year (Spring and Winter).
Each application must follow SJPF’s established guidelines to ensure fairness and alignment with mission priorities:
Minimum request of $5,000, maximum request of $100,000
Multi-year or endowment grants are not accepted
Capital expenditure requests are considered low priority unless mission-critical
Requested amount should generally not exceed 20% of the organization’s annual operating budget
Each grant is treated like a strategic investment — targeted toward organizations with proven effectiveness, faithful leadership, and the capacity to grow.
Priority Areas of Support:
Ultrasound equipment and medical expansion
Key staffing and leadership development
Operating and infrastructure needs
Marketing and outreach to reach more women and families
Family-strengthening and post-abortion healing programs
We focus on funding that strengthens long-term stability, not short-term relief — helping the most effective ministries grow stronger, last longer, and reach farther.
3 | Review & Vetting
Every applicant is reviewed under equal consideration.
Our evaluation process examines:
Leadership integrity and governance
Alignment with Church teaching
Financial transparency and operational strength
Demonstrated outcomes and capacity to scale
Our team then conducts on-site visits, interviews key staff, and evaluates current programs. Priority is given to areas that directly advance life-saving outcomes — including ultrasound equipment, staffing expansion, operational support, advertising, and family-strengthening initiatives.
4 | Investment Decision
Once due diligence is complete, our team strategically deploys grants where they will achieve the greatest measurable good.
Each dollar is treated like capital — invested into the strongest ministries with the clearest potential for growth, stability, and multiplied impact.
5. Tracking & Partnership
Continuous partnership and accountability: the agency must report on how the grant was used and what impact was made.
We also provide pro-bono fundraising consulting to our grantees.
6 | Impact & Follow-Through
Ministries that demonstrate strong leadership and measurable outcomes may be invited to apply in future cycles. While we do not offer multi-year grants, our long-term vision is to build a network of thriving, accountable organizations capable of transforming the culture through life-affirming work.
